Carpet Python eggs dropped Easter Sunday!!!!
Easter Sunday, we were blessed with 18 beautiful eggs from Wynona, a carpet python from the late Jody Worona. There are very few of his carpet pythons left, so these eggs are a huge deal for me and for Rob, who has the other half of the collection. Not just to have some snakes for sale. For us, keeping his reptile blood lines going is only a scale of the beauty. I made a decision that when these babies are bought, half of the money will go to St. Jude's Children's research hospital, in Jody's name! Jody had a heart of gold, and he would donate to them every time he saw the commercial. He may be gone, but we can keep his traditions going. As if the carpet eggs were not enough, a ball python from his collection also dropped eggs early Sunday morning. Rob and I seem to have been blessed with an Easter egg hunt so to speak, and Jody was felt on our shoulders. Pulling the eggs, I could hear him chuckle as I got tagged by momma snake.
